This is a new article which will list some legends in TM, and save their career stats for after they retire. PM me on Trophy Manager if you think someone deserves to be included. They don't have to be LoI players, just someone who has played a lot of games and played well. I would prefer to include them once they have already announced they will retire at the end of the season.

Patsy O' Connell (Cavan Celtic) (Goalkeeper)

Patsy O'Connell was one of the oldest players in the game, aged 37 years and 11 months, when he finally died/retired at the end of Season 23. He was there when Cavan Celtic first began in Season 7, and finally retired at the end of season 23, after 17 seasons! He broke all kinds of appearance records in the first 8 and a half seasons, before losing his place to Christopher McDermott! He spent the second half of his career, another 8 and a half seasons as the no.2 keeper. He played 15 games as Cavan won their first league title: 2.1 in Season 15, although that was the season he lost his place, and didn't play another game for nearly three seasons! Nevertheless he will always be remembered for the role he played in the inital period Cavan's history, playing a crucial role in their move up the leagues.

Armin Schutzhauer (FC Rage) (Forward)

This Austrian striker was "brought to the Irish Leagues during the Season 15 NT Sale and played a major role in FC Rage's rise from Division 3 to the LoI".
