Not the result we were looking for.
Would the Cat have made a difference? Hard to say. Very bad game from the most experienced man on the pitch for us, Simpson. He made no less than 5 defensive fuckups, resulting in two of their goals. Perhaps 4 at the back would have been more helpful, although Simpson was OK as the lone DC against Bosnia.
On the positive side, we held them in possession and the attackers did their job, scoring two goals. A shame that wasn't enough to win it. Top class side, Croatia and one of those teams that appear to be blessed as they do not require tactical changes to get the results. Balanced mentality all the way for them boys.
Leaves us at third, with a slight buffer below at the half way point of the Quals.
