Wasn't looking forward to this write-up as it was such a shit performance, when we had qualification within our grasp.  Anyway, what can you say?  We were summarily outplayed.  Glynn's performance (or lack of it) was truly disappointingly incredible.  He missed two tackle chances that led to goals and actually there was nothing positive about him being on the pitch at all.  His only decent corner was bollocksed up by another player.  But it wasn't only him.  Very few of our passes connected with no fewer than ten getting intercepted.  Always tough to get results away, we were definitely weak in midfield.  Feck it anyway.

Is this just a display error? "87 min: Ireland stepped back a little to defend their two goal lead and allowed Bosnia-Herzegovina a little more space and time on the ball."  Not that it would have made a difference at that stage.

7 C. Mullan DL Found Ó Raighne for our goal, but also made a bad pass, made a tackle, missed a tackled, was tackled.  Rating: 6

4 M. "The Kid" Simpson DC Made three interceptions and a tackle, but missed four tackles.  Massive routine or no routine, his days as lone DC seem to be at an end.  Rating: 3

8 S. O'Bannon DR Made an interception, but a bad pass and missed a tackle.  Rating: 4

11 T. Connolly DMC Made an interception and a couple of tackles, one cynical, apparently.  One pass that was intercepted, but got two shots away, one on target that was saved.  Rating: 5

22 L. McArdle ML Not a great game here either.  Made a decent pass, but 2 were intercepted.  Made an interception, was tackled.  Got two shots away, one on target.  Rating: 5

12 T. King MCL A good pass, a bad pass and an interception.  Rating: 6
