So, season 28 anyone?

I want to say hi to everyone (all 2 of you) who might be reading this. There was a little delay in updating the blog, like a year or so, but greatness doesn't lose value over time. If i have to wait a couple of years for the next Game of thrones book, You might as well wait a year for a page of gibberish.

As you may or may not have noticed, the title of the blog changed to 2.2 from 2.3. This indeed means i have been handed my ass in 1.1 in the most shameful way possible and without reply. Change of workplace and so on, it's been a busy year. But here goes an update.

The good form of seasons 24 and 25 continued with a div 2 title in season 26, a title i am proud of and one i knew would cause my fans to leave in huge flocks. Last season was my debut in 1.1, and it went to the line. In all fairness i had as easy a job as possible, a team went missing in midseason and another youthed it up, so there were practically two 1.1 heavyweights offering survival. For the first time ever i changed tactics almost on a matchly basis, and you can count on me being one step behind the ME in my search for a Stoke-like fighting unit.

I did manage to finish in play-out position, but then Firebirds showed up and had the luxury of missing a penalty (experts agree it was pity for me on his part) and beating me 2-0. Scorers: Corner Kick and... Free Kick. It didn't help that i was playing many out of position due to injuries and suspensions. But enough bitching about TM when i could just as easily... well nevermind:)

I spent a 100 mills on upgrading the stadium, i'm not 100% but i'm pretty certain i never once seen one new chair being occupied during the season. Maybe by bird poop. Or human poop. Did i mention the fans weren't ecstatic about the team? I was also in the market for a defender, because unless i can play my 3-5-2, i have nobody worthy to be DC alongside him. The other two are DK and BK. I like them three, sadly there was a Georgian Granddad added, it was one of my usual market coups. He is old but he lacks the routine to make up for his crappy skills. He is also called Katy.

Bought a couple more youth players (overpriced of course), sold some (got pennies instead of the billions i deserve for training them), even fired a couple (i probably would have got those billions for).

Now i want to make certain you guys know i play PC games in general for fun, not for work. That's why i never could get drawn in by MMORPGs that require grinding. In this spirit of happy freedom of responsibilities i agreed to be LT for Hungary for reasons already discussed. This last year saw my meteoric rise through the ranks which is a good lesson to remember any time you might think teamsters are always right and generally know what they are talking about. Except Bobz. Don't mess with him.

This new 28.th season might get me some of my fickle fans back, sponsors might actually reward me for something at the end of it, i am aiming for top 3, and hoping to avoid relegation.
